What it offers to members: As the world’s largest retailer, it’s no surprise that Prime membership offers a whole host of benefits to make this service extra appealing to online shoppers — and there are about 163 million Prime members in the U.S. Though free one- or two-day delivery is arguably the most famous benefit, Prime members also get plenty of free entertainment content in the form of a subscription to Prime Video, free access to Amazon Music and Gaming, Prime Reading which offers free loans of some titles, deals on prices with Amazon-owned Whole Foods and savings on prescription medications.
